Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is on his way home and is scheduled to land in Tel Aviv on Wednesday evening.
Following his return, the prime minister will be meeting with Finance Minister Roni Bar-On to discuss economic realities and Bar-On’s plan to save the economy. Olmert has already announced he plans to make some changes, including a step towards meeting some of the Histadrut National Labor Federation’s demands towards bailing out pension funds.
The amended Olmert bail-out plan will be presented to the cabinet at Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting aides to the prime minister report.
