With about 10 weeks to the general election for the 18th Knesset, Likud continues to gain momentum while Kadima and Labor continue to drop, at least according to the latest Channel 1 TV poll.
According to the Geocartographia Poll released on Tuesday, if elections were held today, the following would be the results of the larger parties.
Likud – 37
Kadima – 25
Shas – 11
Yisrael Beitenu – 8
Labor – 7
(Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)

You need to know how many the Ashkenazi Hareidim will get and how many the “Jewish house” (NRP/NU recycled) will get. If that number is less than 13, then Likud would have to get Leiberman (who is anti-religious to join), or consider a coalition involving Kadima or Labor. From the numbers above, it would be unlikely that Kadmina could put together a government, which is probably good from frum Jews.
