Municipal elections will be held on Tuesday, 25 Nov, in 31 locations. About 500,000 eligible voters are being asked to once again cast their ballots after no one emerged the victor in the first round of elections two weeks earlier.

The polls for the second election will operate from 13:00-20:00. In this runoff election, there is no minimum percentage of the votes required. The candidate with a simply majority will be declared the winner.

Among the municipalities holding runoff elections are: Ashkelon, Rechovot, Kiryat Shmona, Tzfas, Metula, Even Yehuda, Tamra, Yafia, Kfar Kama, Kadima-Tzoron, Kiryat Ono, Rahat, Kalansua, Shfaram, Ramat Yishai and Yavne.
