Transportation Minister (Kadima) Shaul Mofaz stated that since he assumed the post of defense minister, Ehud Barak has harmed Israel’s deterrence abilities vis-à-vis Hamas in Gaza.

Mofaz had harsh words for his successor, stating Barak is not handling the situation regarding continuing rocket attacks from Gaza in an acceptable fashion.
