Defense Minister Ehud Barak has authorized 30 trucks to deliver humanitarian supplies into Hamas-controlled Gaza on Sunday despite Sunday’s rocket attacks.

Barak made grandiose statements that the attacks would not be tolerated, but simultaneously, permits fuel and humanitarian goods to be brought into Gaza.

In the meantime, 300 public address systems were purchased for Ashdod as officials begin preparing the city to become engulfed in the rocket-attack target zone, joining the Greater Sderot Area and Ashkelon.

On Sunday, one rocket fell on the Turjeman home in Sderot, resulting in significant damage to the kitchen, yard, and blowing out all the windows in the home. One person was lightly injured and many others were treated for various levels of hysteria. The family dog was also injured by the incoming rocket.
