*Rockets were fired into southern Israel on Shabbos. The rockets launched from northern Hamas-controlled Gaza landed in open areas. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

*A sizable force of police and soldiers on Shabbos were involved in a search for a donkey after Arabs and left-wing Israelis in the S. Chevron Hills reported “Jews stole the animal”. The dead animal was found in a ditch. Police are investigating.

*A border police officer, soldier and IDF soldier were lightly injured in Arab violence at Na’alin on erev Shabbos. Three protestors were injured by riot-control adjuncts deployed by security forces.

*Minister Ami Ayalon on Sunday morning plans to announce his resignation from the Labor Party at a news conference.
