Peres & Livni at Interfaith Conference

President Shimon Peres did not vote in the municipal elections on Tuesday because he was already in the United States, where he is attending the United Nations Interfaith Conference. Mr. Peres will be leading the Israeli delegation.

Joining the president is Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who left Israel on Tuesday night. Livni is expected to meet with a number of high-level officials during her visit, including UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and former American President Bill Clinton.
