Despite the controversy surrounding former President Moshe Katsav, who was compelled to resign from office, he will be receiving an office and staff as is the standard procedure for former presidents of the state.
He will be receiving an office on the 49th floor of the prestigious Migdal Ha’ir tower in Ramat Gan. Real estate agents estimate the monthly rent between NIS 11,000-14,000 for the 120 sq-meter office. The building is the tallest in Israel and it is considered one of the more expensive office properties in the country.
