Two Poskei HaDor Shlita, Rav Ovadia Yosef and Rav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv are calling on followers to get out and vote, for Meir Porush, to “Mekadesh Shem Shamayim”.

Rav Elyashiv Shlita, accompanied by his gabba’im, on Tuesday morning reported to the voting poll on Route 1 and voted for Meir Porush and Gimmel for the city council. Shortly thereafter, Rav Ovadia Shlita made his way to the voting poll on Bazel Street in Kiryat Moshe, a polling station for the elderly and handicapped.

Gabba’im to Rav Ovadia explained the polling station in Har Nof has many steps and election officials responded positively to a request to permit the posek hador to vote in Kiryat Moshe. Rav Yosef voted for Meir Porush and Shas for city council.
