SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Today, Sunday, is day 145 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Today is Gilad Shalit’s 869th day in Hamas captivity.

*Rock-throwing attacks at Beit Iwa, SW of Chevron on motzei Shabbos. No injuries.

*A Thai worker was lightly wounded by IDF gunfire in the fields of Kibbutz Manara in the Galil on Shabbos afternoon after he was suspected of being a terrorist from Lebanon. He was transported to a hospital with a shoulder wound.

*Two border policemen were lightly injured by rocks at a protest involving Arabs and left-wing supporters at Na’alin.

*Motzei Shabbos, 19:05: Kassam rocket lands in the W. Negev. No injuries.

*Motzei Shabbos, 20:40: Kassam rocket attack without injuries.

*The air force on motzei Shabbos hit a loaded Kassam rocket launcher in northern Gaza to prevent another attack.

*DM Ehud Barak has ordered all Gaza crossings closed in response to renewed rocket attacks.

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested four suspected on motzei Shabbos.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Dan Meridor on Sunday is expected to announce he is returning to his native Likud Party.

*Eretz Yisrael Faithful members returned to Chomesh on Shabbos. Security forces on motzei Shabbos moved in, destroying two structures and arresting three people.

*Security remains heavy in and around Kever Rachel as thousands have made their way to the kever since motzei Shabbos, marking the yahrzeit of Rachel Imeinu.
