06:38am IL: IDF soldiers operating in Gaza during the night are leaving the area after locating and destroying a 250 meter long tunnel that was intended to kidnap soldiers from the border area into Hamas-controlled Gaza.

According to unconfirmed reports, six terrorists were killed. One IDF soldier was wounded, apparently lightly.

For southern Israel residents, it was another night of sirens, mortar shells and Kassam rockets. Baruch Hashem no injuries were reported.

Soldiers operating along the Gaza border areas remain on heightened alert in expectation of renewed rocket fire or terrorist activity in the area.
