5:23AM IL: Terrorists on Tuesday night fired a number of Kassam rockets into southern Israel. There were no injuries reported as a result of the attacks.

It was later reported that an elite IDF force operated about 250 meters into Gaza, surrounding a house from which a tunnel was operating, which according to intelligence information was to be used in the near future to kidnap soldiers into the Hamas-controlled area.

At about midnight, the air force targeted terrorists in the Khan Yunis area. PA (Palestinian Authority) sources report four terrorists were killed.

Since midnight, a number of Kassam rockets were fired into Israel with the last one landing near Sderot. There were no injuries reported. The IDF remains on alert in expectation of continued warfare.
