Winter driving regulations began yesterday, November 1st, requiring motorists to turn on headlights during the day while traveling on intercity roads. Winter driving regulations continue through the end of March 2009.

In addition, two-wheeled motorized vehicles, taxis, trucks, buses and emergency vehicles are required to drive with their headlights on at all times.
