While residents of the Shomron outpost of Churshah were protecting their olive grove, Arabs supported by left-wing Israelis on Wednesday set the community property ablaze as well as killing a dog.
Police advised outpost residents, located near Adei Ad in the Gush Shilo area that the Arabs would be working nearby to harvest their olives. As a result, the residents left the community unprotected to guard their olive trees.
The group numbering about two dozen took advantage and entered the outpost and destroyed it. One puppy was bludgeoned to death, a second dog taken and the third left unharmed.
The security officer of the nearby community of Shilo, Dovid Yoel, stopped some of the suspects, who were taken into police custody. Four people were arrested by police.
