*An Arab youth was shot and killed by IDF soldiers on Tuesday night as he was about to throw a firebomb near Bet El in Shomron.
*Two Israeli who entered PA-occupied Bet Lechem were turned over to Israeli authorities by PA (Palestinian Authority) security forces. They were taken into police custody for violating the ban on entering PA autonomous areas.
*PA security forces informed IDF Civil Administration officials of a 100-meter tunnel discovered in Chevron. The tunnel was destroyed without incident.
*The Jerusalem City Hall Promenade was cleared on Tuesday night, motzei first day yomtov due to a suspicious object feared to be a bomb. Hundreds of yomtov visitors were compelled to leave the area and the musical entertainment was brought to a halt.
*Egyptian security forces on Tuesday night shot and killed an African male who was trying to cross illegally into Israel.

*The head of the left-wing Meretz Party, MK Chaim Oron, is calling on Public Security Minister Avi Dichter to release the Arab driver whose Yom Kippur drive resulted in the race riots in that city and elsewhere in Israel.
*A firebomb attack in the Hatikvah neighborhood of Tel Aviv resulted in a structural fire. No injuries were reported. Police are investigating.
