SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*A closure is being imposed on Yehuda and Shomron at midnight until following Rosh Hashanah.

*An Arab was detected disguised as a male chareidi passenger on board a bus traveling to Betar on Sunday night. The imposter was placed under arrest and turned over to authorities for interrogation.

*A stone roadblock was placed on the Trans-Samaria Highway near Ariel in Shomron. A similar roadblock was placed near Alei Zahav in the Shomron on Shabbos morning. When the motorist stopped, terrorists fired at him, injuring him.

*Massive stone-throwing attacks on the Hussan Bypass Road near Betar Illit during the Sunday evening rush hour. No injuries were reported.

*Four Arabs armed with knives were apprehended on Sunday afternoon as they tried entering the Jewish Quarter of Chevron.

*Arabs hurled rocks at a military ambulance near Chawarah Checkpoint in Shomron on Sunday at noon.

*An Arab who swam from Gaza to southern Green Line Israel was found breaking into homes in Jewish communities.

*Jewish motorists traveling near PA-occupied Beit Lechem were attacked by Arabs hurling rocks during the Sunday night rush hour. No injuries were reported.
