Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, who lost to Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni in the Kadima leadership race, is signaling that he may be interested in the Interior Ministry portfolio in the next government which is now being formed. The move comes as a surprise, as most predicted Mofaz, a former IDF chief of staff, to set his sights on a return to the Defense Ministry but it appears this is not the case.
