Four PA (Palestinian Authority) residents over the weekend successfully entered the IDF’s Nevatim Air Force Base without being detected by any of the sentries or security cameras. The four were not planning a terrorist act, but the Chevron area residents were looking for employment, explaining they hoped for a job on a construction project inside the base,

After wandering around the base for about an hour, they approached a construction foreman who realized they were not cleared to be inside, notifying authorities. They managed to bypass all security, including a closed-circuit video system that should have alerted authorities to their presence.

Air force officials confirm the infiltration, stating a major and thorough investigation is underway.
