HEARTBREAK: Levaya And Kevurah Held In Yerushalayim For Natasha, Diana, And Debrah Saada A”H

In a deeply emotional levaya that extended past midnight, Sara Natasha Saada, a”h, and her two young daughters, Dina Bracha, a”h, and Devorah Mazal, a”h, were laid to rest side by side on Har HaMenuchos in Yerushalayim.

The grief-stricken father, Sidney Saada arrived in Israel carrying the unimaginable burden of his loss, while simultaneously concerned about his 4-year-old son, Raphael Pinchas ben Sara, who remains in the hospital, rehabilitating from serious wounds incurred during the crash.

As the brokenhearted father stood by the fresh kevorim of his wife and daughters, he was met with words of chizzuk and emunah from Rav Elimelech Biderman, shlit”a, whose words sought to uplift both the grieving father, the mourning attendees, and the community shattered to pieces by the tragedy.

Following Rav Biderman, HaRishon L’Tzion Rabbi David Yosef, shlit”a, delivered divrei hesped, offering words of comfort and chizuk to the family and those gathered to mourn this unfathomable tragedy.

As the kevurah neared, HaRav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, shlit”a arrived. Known for his close connection to the grieving father, the Rosh Yeshiva has served as a source of guidance and counsel for him over the years. Their bond was evident when Sidney Saada sought his advice even during the Rosh Yeshiva’s recent visit to the United States.

Rav Moshe Hillel joined in the actual burial, personally participating in covering the kevorim with dirt. The raw grief and anguish were palpable as tears flowed freely from all in attendance, leaving no eye dry in the face of such an unbearable loss.
