Egypt Threatens To Expel Hamas Terrorists If Hostage Release Deal Is Not Reached

Egypt recently threatened the Hamas terror organization that it will expel the terrorists released from Israeli prisons if the terror group does not agree to a new hostage release deal, Kan News reported.

An Arab source told Kan News: “A message was conveyed to Hamas that if they do not agree to the proposal that Egypt proposed, they are not wanted and their prisoners must leave within 72 hours.” According to the same source, this is what caused Hamas to agree to the proposal.

The official believes that Egypt’s position is the result of heavy US pressure.

Egypt accepted dozens of murderous terrorists released from Israeli prisons during the ceasefire. The original plan was for them to stay only temporarily in Egypt, but no other country has agreed to accept them yet.
