The IDF on Monday night eliminated Hassan Kamal Halawi, the commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front’s anti-tank unit, the IDF spokesperson announced on Tuesday.

The elimination was carried out via an airstrike in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.

During the war, Halawi advanced numerous terror attacks against the State of Israel and was responsible for supplying weapons to Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon and facilitating their movements.

In recent months, even after the ceasefire began, Halaoui continued to engage in advancing terror attacks against Israeli civilians.

“The terror activities carried out by Hassan Kamal Halawi posed a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens,” the IDF spokesperson said.
