Candace Owens, a media personality with a long history of antisemitic rhetoric, weaponized an article from Ami Magazine to promote anti-Israel conspiracy theories.
In a recent livestream, Owens expressed astonishment at an Ami Magazine article she claimed to have read, using it to push the narrative that Israel has long controlled American policy through blackmail and manipulation. She alleged, without evidence, that Israel and its intelligence agency, the Mossad, have systematically blackmailed powerful American families—including the Bushes, Rockefellers, and the Dulles family—to exert influence over U.S. politics, business, and media.
Her “evidence” came from an article and book written by John Loftus, an Ami Magazine contributor who, sources tell YWN, makes things up on the fly.
“Literally mind-blown,” Owens told her audience, before directing them to the article. “America clearly got occupied at some point… and it seems like we’re just constantly doing Israel’s bidding.”
She continued, making the baseless claim that Israel has engaged in “sophisticated blackmail operations” that have extended to figures such as former Congressman Matt Gaetz, as well as a supposed historical effort to control the CIA.
“This is not anti-Semitism, my friends,” she insisted. “This is Ami Magazine. It’s very Jewish, okay? I probably wasn’t even allowed to read it.”
Despite her insistence that her claims were based on fact, Owens veered into outright conspiracy, stating, “Israel has been corrupt since its founding,” and falsely asserting that Israeli efforts to edit Wikipedia pages constituted a long-term propaganda campaign. She described Israel as a state engaged in systematic efforts to “warp” American minds, specifically targeting Jewish Americans with indoctrination.

“Israel has been corrupt since its founding,” This is probably correct. The deep state of socialism and kefira have been the ones in control from the beginning (SC, SB, IDF, and then, the government as well). It is only now that Bibi and his government are doing something against them.
Did she even bother to google John Loftus? His articles are literally printed for the entertainment value of how outlandishly preposterous and yet self assured, they are.

I know that this is a very unpopular position but I’ve seen every bit of content that Candace has created and she isn’t an anti-semite. She’s against the Israeli government. She is quoted out of context all the time.

Well if John Luftus “makes things up on a fly” (which he does) why has Ami featured his column for years? Why are they ok feeding conspiracy theories to their readers. The sad reality is that frum media in general does a poor job informing its readers of the realities of this world. It is mostly party line and unchallenged right wing viewpoints. Perhaps this can serve as an impetus for demands for genuine quality journalism.

Before ‘the’ UN vote of 1948 the votes were stacked against the zionist lobby, primarily the union of the Catholic and Muslim votes. Somehow or other zionist agents caused the vote to swing. At the time it was unknown how they pulled it off. But it was definitely not a miracle. More recently a few books have been written on the subject. Loftus suggests that an agent blackmailed the Rockerfellers for their business dealing with Nazi Germany. That US nationals including Joseph Kennedy and other high-status individuals dealt with them despite the official US embargo is famous. Could Rockerfeller also have been involved in shipping oil to Germany? Definitely. Why was he blackmailed rather than all the others? Maybe he was more powerful; the others tended to keep a lower political profile, or perhaps his oil business gave him connections with the Arab states. But only shills would dismiss the claim out of hand, and only extremely gullible people would believe the shills, think that they don’t exist.
