Neighbors took notice on a Thursday night when they saw the Jerusalem police chief enter the home of HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, the av beis din of the Eida Chareidis, wondering what was taking place.
It appears that while Rav Weiss Shlita was recently attending a family simcha in the United States, his home was burglarized. Police apparently recovered most or all of the stolen merchandise in the possession of an Arab at a Jerusalem checkpoint and the senior commander was returning the goods.

Admittedly very decent of the police, that the chief himself brought him the stolen belongings.
Hope it will help in bettering the relations between the police and the Edah. We should definitely give them the required hakaras hatov for this.
If he does not recognize the Medinah how can he allow the police who represent the medinah to work for him?
I guess even the arabs check out YW news and they new that the GAVAD was in the US so they had a free for all at his apartment
B”H they got some of the stuff back
Good reason to support the police department.
