Cholon police on Thursday received tens of phone calls from concerned and panicked residents who reported hearing bursts of automatic gunfire in the morning. Residents assumed a terrorist was firing a weapon in the area.
 
Police responding to the ‘terror attack’ found an IDF soldier who decided to engage in target practice near his home. The soldier was taken into custody and the investigation of the case was turned over to IDF military police.
