Omer Shem Tov, Tal Shoham, Avera Mengistu, Eliya Cohen, Omer Wenkert, and Hisham al-Sayed were released from captivity in Gaza on Shabbos in three separate handovers and are back in Israel.

On Shabbos morning, Tal Shoham and Avera Mengistu were forced to parade across a stage in Rafah in southern Gaza before being released to the Red Cross who transferred them to IDF forces.

A visibly distressed Mengistu is forced through the crowd by the heinous terrorists:

Later on Shabbos morning, Omer Shem Tov, Omer Wenkert, and Eliya Cohen, all dressed in mock IDF uniforms, were also forced onto a stage in a cruel propaganda ceremony in Nuseirat in central Gaza before being transferred to the Red Cross.

Shem Tov was forced to kiss two of the Hamas animals on their heads. YWN made a decision not to publish the actual video.

On Shabbos afternoon, Hisham al-Sayed was released to the Red Cross without a ceremony beforehand, likely not wanting to draw attention to the fact that they held a mentally ill Muslim in captivity for almost ten years.

They didn’t have the same qualms about Mengistu, who is Jewish, parading him in a propaganda ceremony after holding him for almost ten years despite his mental illness.
