The question “When will Prime Minister Ehud Olmert resign” is already being asked by many.

The prime minister announced that he would submit his resignation “immediately” following the Kadima leadership race. Now, there is already talk of pushing off the move until after Rosh Hashanah, explaining President Shimon Peres is attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

Prior to the election, Livni and other Kadima senior officials made it clear to the prime minister that he must step down immediately, for the good of the party and the nation.
