*Today, Thursday, is day 93 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Today is Gilad Shalit’s 816th day in Hamas captivity.

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested 12 suspects during the night. The suspects were turned over to the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) for interrogation.

*Abu Dis: Arabs threw a firebomb at border police. There were no injuries or damage reported.

*Chabadnikim around the world mark today, 18 Elul, the birthday of the Bal Shem Tov and Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, the Alter Rebbe.

*An 8-year-old was taken to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon after being bitten by a snake in a kibbutz near Kiryat Gat. The child is reported in good condition.
