The entire civilized world was shocked by the images of the three Israeli hostages released by Hamas on Shabbos except for the BBC.
Not only was BBC not shocked, they even dared claim that Israel carries out similar atrocities to Palestinian terrorists in Israeli prisons.
In an interview with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Sunday, only hours after the shocking images of the skeletal Israeli hostages were broadcast live to the world, BBC host Laura Kuenssberg had the audacity to ask Herzog how he justifies what Israel does to Palestinian prisoners (a euphemism for terrorists and mass murderers).

Her question came despite Herzog describing the pitiable condition of Eli Sharabi, Ohad Ben Ami, and Or Levi, saying: “They were held in tunnels throughout the entire period and had no contact with the outside world. They were starved, returning completely emaciated. They suffered from an enormous amount of injuries, pain, and wounds, and of course, we haven’t even talked about their mental state. We were all shocked and horrified when we saw them emerging from Hamas captivity.”
When Kuenssberg angrily asked about the Palestinian prisoners, Herzog responded in an admirably calm manner, saying: “I absolutely reject that. And I think that this equality that the BBC is always trying to make is outrageous and preposterous. It’s absolutely not true. We are a democracy that abides by the rule of law. All prisoners in Israel get whatever is necessary under the supervision of the court. A Supreme Court justice even recently visited the prisons.”
“Not only that but some of the terrorists didn’t even want to leave,” Herzog continued. “They didn’t want to go back to Gaza. They preferred staying in Israeli prisons.”

The BBC also referred to Oct 7, right at the very beginning as it was still fresh, as:
“What some are calling a “terrorist attack” ” – IN QUOTES!!!!
They also explained for their viewers, less chas veshalom they come to misinterpret, what Iran means when it calls itself and its proxies as the “axis of resistance”:
BBC: What are they ‘resisting’? Resisting the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories
The Israeli govt should lodge an official diplomatic protest with the UK govt – the BBC is not simply some private media organisation, it is a state funded public institution!!
Yimach shemo
BBC stands for Bunch of Bull – and I’ll leave the rest for you to imagine!
They are the same as al Jazeera, the UN, NYT and Prastvolia. I wonder if it’s not Gutteres’ personal op-ed rag.
Israel HAS to have some official way of holding mainstream media organisations accountable for what they publish – otherwise it is shtika kehodaa
The BBC is simply the liberal/western-based Muslim version of Al Jazira, no less evil – it needs to face the consequences of that, just like Al Jazira has
But the fact that it is an officially state funded institution makes its pro-Hamas broadcasting even more beyond inexcusable – implying that Oct 7 wasn’t necessarily a “terrorist attack” by putting it in quotes as they did every time they used that term isn’t just morally perverted, it is basically outright support for a legally proscribed terrorist organisation – which is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE
The fact that it has been allowed to continue like that without any consequences is a stain not only on the UK but also on Israel
