Reports from Gaza on Tuesday state continued clashes between Hamas security forces and gunmen have led to 11 fatalities. Among the wounded is Army of Islam terrorist Mumtaz Doghmush, who played a role in the June 2006 abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

Among the dead is an infant reports state, as the Hamas security forces continue shootouts with the Fatah-aligned Doghmush clan terrorists. The ongoing warfare includes the use of mortar shells too, with Hamas officials reporting arrests are being made in the hope of ending the latest round of fighting.

A number of weeks ago, Israel ordered IDF troops into Gaza under gunfire to assist members of the Fatah-aligned Doghmush clan after Defense Minister Ehud Barak received a request for assistance from PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen).
