The media in Israel is having a field day bashing and discrediting Yitzhar residents following their retaliatory attack in response to a Shabbos morning knife and arson attack in one of the community’s neighborhoods – as reported HERE on YWN.
Politicians and the press seem to sending cues to one another, exchanging condemnatory messages, calling the community residents vigilantes or worse. No one seems to be addressing the fact that at about 6:30AM on Shabbos morning, an Arab infiltrated the community, injured a 9-year-old boy with a knife and set a caravan home ablaze. Baruch Hashem, no one was home.
In his opening remarks to the weekly Sunday cabinet meeting (reported HERE on YWN), Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stated “we will not permit pogroms against non-Jewish residents”. What was conspicuously missing from his commentary was a statement that he will also not tolerate pogroms against Jewish residents.
The radical left-wing is calling to disarm Yitzhar residents, which would leave them defenseless against future attacks, while police and IDF officials vow to bring those involved in the retaliatory attack to justice.

rabbi108300: as i was reading this article, those exact words came to my mind!
It is not enough to curse the EREV RAV. They must be defeated. If as few as 100,000 religious Jews were to return to Israel, it would be enough to tip the balance of power away from them. They are holding on by the skin of their teeth and are desperate. They have known for years that they have lost the demographic battle. Not against the Arabs but against the Jews! Everything they have done for the past 20 years is an effort to stop Torah loyal Jews from coming to power. So stop cursing the darkness and bring the light of Jewish NESHAMAS to Israel and destroy the darkness once and for all.

If the government would do its job, the residents of Yitzhar would not have had to do what they did.
Time for Olmert to do tshuva by learning in one of the koilelim of the ShaBaS for a couple of years (that’s Sherutei Batei HaSohar, not a typo for Shabbos!)
Those responsible for the attack are none other than Ehud Olmert and the army and police which he weakened, and they indeed should be brought to justice ASAP!
The Israeli secular goverment is a pathetic group of Reshaim. May their downfall come soon and the righteous ones rise once and for all.
