The 70-year-old Israeli woman whose body was found in the Desert Camp Hostile in northern Sinai on Wednesday died of a heart attack, Israeli officials are reporting.
Upon receiving the report from Egypt, Israeli officials immediately became concerned that she may have died as a result of a terror attack, accompanied by reports there were signs of violence on her body.
Later in the day, there were reports she slipped and fell, leading to her death, adding the body did not exhibit signs of violence as reported earlier. Today, Thursday, it is being reported that she died a cardiac-related death.
