The name of one of the two pilots killed in the Wednesday night Cobra helicopter crash [reported HERE on YWN] is now permitted for publication.
Major Shai Danor, 35, from Rosh HaAyin, was a reserve duty pilot. Danor is survived by his wife and five children, ranging in ages from 18-month-old twins to 8.
The identity of the other pilot, also a major is not yet cleared for publication. The IAF has ordered a total investigation. All Cobra choppers have been grounded pending the outcome of the investigation.
