During the IDF’s operation in southern Lebanon several days ago, soldiers found an underground shaft leading to a bunder hideout for terrorists with a nearby exit shaft.
The forces surrounded the building and located an underground complex about seven meters deep with 50 meters of living space, where a Hezbollah terrorist had barricaded himself inside for a long stay. The bunker was equipped with weapons and supplies.
Footage of the incident shows soldiers from the special HUMINT force Unit 504 ordering the terrorist in Arabic to undress and slowly leave the bunker. He was the first Hezbollah terrorist to be captured alive in Lebanon since the ground war began.
After the terrorist surrendered and was arrested, Unit 504 operatives interrogated him at the site and then brought him to a detention facility in Israel for further interrogation.
