Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets at Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas in northern Israel shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday.
One of the rockets scored a direct hit on a home in Margaliot. B’Chasdei Hashem, the residents of the home had entered a protected space after hearing the sirens and were not injured.
Two civilian employees of the IDF were lightly injured by shrapnel and received emergency medical treatment at the Gibor military base near Kiryat Shmona.
The IDF later reported that Hezbollah had fired 40 rockets in the barrage.
Later on Thursday, Hezbollah fired a rocket at the northern Shomron and it landed in an open area in the terror hotbed of Jenin. No injuries or damage were reported.
