IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon have encountered an intruiging phenomenon – Hezbollah terrorists are fleeing from the front lines, Channel 12 News reported.
According to the report, terrorists are escaping to the Lebanese Army’s positions, and what’s more, terrorists in the north are refusing to travel to southern Lebanon to fight against the IDF.
It’s a Hezbollah “morale problem.”
The report quoted an IDF soldier who described what’s happening on the ground: “There’s no enemy in sight,” he said. “The villages are almost completely deserted. The few terrorists that were there were eliminated by the Air Force. There’s no face-to-face encounters. Everything is very organized and orderly.”
“There’s a feeling of a well-structured plan, clear stages, and amazing cooperation between ground, artillery, and air forces. The Israeli yishuvim we pass through are dotted with destroyed homes, the streets are deserted and overgrown with thorns. It’s a heartbreaking sight that reminds us why we’re here.”

We should begin the title with BH* rather than Cowards. We should be very grateful they don’t want to stick around and kill our boys. Jeering them distracts us from being grateful to Hashem
It takes beitzim to fight and, well, theirs were blown off so…
Anyone who follows geopolitics is not surprised. Men signed up to fight Israel but there was almost total quiet after 2006. Men signed up for action but got boredom instead. When Iran was in financial trouble fighters either got paid late or only part of their salary lowering morale. But what really killed morale is when Assad in Syria couldn’t defeat the rebels alone so Iran sent Hezbollah to assist Assad.
Imagine being a Hezbollah fighter itching to kill Jews & destroy Israel but instead you’re fighting for an Arab dictator of another country (that you couldn’t care less about) killing fellow Muslim Arabs.
The low level ground soldiers came to understand this isn’t about Israel or Jews. It’s about Iran wielding it’s power in the Middle East & that Iran & the Hezbollah leadership could care less whether you live or die.
I am very confused.

The real reason Assad is still in power is Russia. Russia is the power behind Assad and the Assad regime has been essential to the continued presence of Hezbollah as an armed terrorist organization in Lebanon.
Donald Trump either thinks like Neville Chamberlain that these rashaim can be appeased, or is actually allied with these rashaim. The Woodward book suggests that the latter is true.
