  1. Last United flight is leaving TLV in a few minutes. They’re kicking people off the plane so they can get their employees home. Great PR move.

  2. Yussel: El Al is running a business. It is not a gemach. ALL airlines work on the simple principle that if demand is high so are prices. Ho right or fair that is, is between the owners and the Ribbono shel Olam, not you and me! Midwesterner: of course United will take their staff out.; El Al would do the same if a foreign station of theirs had been threatened with a serious attack, and so would any other airline. PR is not relevant here. Anyone with a confirmed reservation who is deplaned will get another flight home and compensation. Yaapchik: People suffer during wars. Being stranded for a few days is not at the top of the disastrous happenings list. Being one of 250 passengers being blown out of the sky by an Iranian missile while approaching Ben Gurion is deadly serious. Why are we Yidden still so shtetel minded?
