*An Arab carrying a large knife was taken into custody near a school in Jerusalem’s French Hill neighborhood on Monday morning, the first day of school.
*A high alert was declared in the Golan Heights near Bukta-Masada on Monday morning after footprints were detected along the border.
*Rock attacks near PA-occupied Beit Lechem during the Monday morning rush hour. No injuries were reported.
*An Arab male concealing a knife in his tools was taken into custody near the Ma’aras HaMachpelah in Chevron on Monday morning.
*Na’alin: An Arab who tried to grab a soldier’s weapon was shot and seriously wounded.
*Chawarah Checkpoint: An Arab male was taken into custody after he was found to be concealing a knife among his tools.
*A truck driver was carjacked by Arabs near el-Hader Jct. in the Gush Etzion district. The truck driver was lightly injured.
*4:50PM: An Arab male tried to grab a weapon from an IDF soldier near the Machpelah in Chevron. He was taken into custody. The soldier was not injured.
*Materials used to construct bombs were discovered in a villager near Yericho.
POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:
*Israeli kidnapped in Nigeria last week was released on Monday as a result of the intervention of Israel and Nigerian officials. It appears the kidnappers intended to abduct someone else.
*Jerusalem Arabs on Monday morning set an Israeli flag ablaze outside a school in the Arab neighborhood of Bet Tzafafa.
*The High Court turned down a petition seeking to revoke the citizenship and pension rights of former Arab MK Azmi Bishara.
