According to a report appearing in the London-based al-Quds al-Arabi, Iran has armed Hizbullah with missiles capable of striking deeper in Israel, striking Tel Aviv.

According to the report appearing on Saturday, the new longer-range missiles are the “surprise” referred to by Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah in a recent address.

The deployment of the missiles officials report serves two purposes; expanding Hizbullah’s striking power and sending a clear sign to Jerusalem that an attack against its nuclear program would be met with a painful reprisal attack.
