Islamic Jihad held a support rally in Gaza on Saturday, announcing it will continue its battle with Israel to stop the aggression against its people.
During the rally, participants stated they are prepared for the next war with Israel, adding at present, the organization has hundreds of rockets ready to be fired into Israel.
In the meantime, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit released a statement that a multi-national Arab force in Gaza is an idea that could bring stability to the Hamas-controlled area and it should be taken seriously. According to reports, during a meeting in Alexandria last week with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the Egyptian leader discussed the idea with Defense Minister Ehud Barak. Hamas reportedly rejected the idea of a force composed of troops from different Arab countries.
