The weatherman has issued a warning for an oppressive heat-wave expected today, Tuesday, as well as for Wednesday and Thursday. Slight relief will be realized on Friday, and temperatures on Shabbos are expected to be a bit closer to seasonable but still uncomfortably hot.

In Tiveria for example, temperatures are expected to reach 40C (104F) on Tuesday, but the humidity and heat stress will make it feel like 50C (122F). In Eilat, it is expected to reach 42C (107.5) and in Yerushalayim, we may see temperatures as high as 34F (93F). Other temperatures include Tel Aviv and Haifa 31C (88F) and Shomron 33C (91.5).
