The “Ometz” organization is calling on the four candidates of the Kadima Party to exhibit fiscal transparency and disclose the source of their financial portfolio.
The watchdog organization is calling on Tzipi Livni, Shaul Mofaz, Avi Dichter and Meir Sheetrit to step forward and set an example and reveal their financial portfolios ahead of the Kadima primary election.
Ometz officials explain that due to alarming revelation of corruption in government of late, it would be a prudent move by the candidates seeking the top party slot in the hope of becoming the next prime minister to preempt, and reveal their financial statements to allay any fears of corruption among the candidates.
Ometz leader Aryeh Avneri is calling on the four to do the correct thing and reveal their financial statements to the public to set a new tone for election campaigns.
