Hamas Fires Long-Range Rocket at Eilat, Intercepted by Israel’s Arrow System

Israel’s Arrow air defense system intercepted a rocket launched at Eilat by Hamas terrorists on Shabbos.

It was the second time since the war began that the Arrow system was used, with the first interception taking place last week after the Iranian-supported Houthis in Yemen launched a ballistic missile at Eilat.

Hamas claimed that the rocket was an Ayyash 250 rocket.

  1. It is highly unlikely to have involved Hamas. More likely it was the Iranians from a based in Yemen. They have been doing so for several days, and the Israelis as well as the Americans and the Saudis have been shooting them down. The Americans and Saudis don’t want the war to escalate, which would happen if the Israelis attack Yemen or more likely, attack Iran, as Iran is allied with the Russians. While the Americans and Saudis (the dictator, what the people think is unknown, they never had elections there) would not be unhappy if Israel bombs Iran into the stone age, the Russians might not be amused.

  2. “fired at eilat”? because that’s where tens of thousands of civilians have fled in the face of the gaza war. yet another war crime by the savages.

  3. Interesting that although the IDF is supposedly destroying Hamas, Hamas seems to have much in reserve to attack us.
I personally have my doubts about the IDF reports. They lied to us so often when they bombed empty warehouses as if that was doing anything. Now the real battle isn’t to destroy the buildings in Gaza but to go underground and destroy ALL the underground tunnels and bunkers where Hamas hides with their weapons. If the IDF doesn’t do that, we are doomed to another more deadly round of attacks from Hamas.
