She called for those participating in demonstrations and expressing support for Hamas to be publicly identified.
Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, emphasized that the international community widely recognizes Hamas as a terrorist organization. She criticized the UN, comparing it to a “farce” and drawing parallels to her stance on the World Health Organization during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She expressed concern about protests and expressions of support for Hamas in American cities and on college campuses, questioning whether professors and students endorsing a terrorist organization understood the implications of their support. Haley highlighted that Hamas has been responsible for the deaths of at least 33 Americans and the abduction of at least 20 hostages. She pointed out that members of the Palestinian-governing party have chanted slogans like “Death to America.”
Haley raised the question of whether Americans demonstrating in favor of Hamas or supporting its actions also desire the destruction of the United States. She argued that individuals expressing such views pose a potential danger to the country. Haley suggested that the names and faces of those involved in such demonstrations should be made public, and she called for these expressions of support to be condemned as hateful.
