IDF Reserve Soldier From J-m Killed In Tank Accident On Northern Border


It was released for publication on Monday morning that an IDF reserve soldier
was killed overnight Sunday as the result of a tank overturning near Israel’s northern border with Lebanon.

Sgt. First Class Yinon Fleischman, z’l, 31, of Jerusalem, a reserve soldier in the 71st Battalion, is survived by his wife Noa, his baby son Ziv, his parents Benny and Michal of Efrat, and his siblings, Daniel, Avishai, Rochel, Shlomit and Shiloh.

Three additional soldiers were injured, one critically, one seriously, and one lightly.

Yeshivas Har Etzion issued a call for tefillos for a graduate of the yeshivah, HaRav Naran Achshar, a reserve soldier who was critically injured in the incident. “He’s in the ICU, sedated and ventilated, and his life is in danger and he’s in need of much tefilla. Please daven for a refuah sheleimah for Naran Chaim ben Rochel Perla b’toch shaar cholei Yisrael.”

The levaya for Yinon Fleischman, z’l, took place on Monday afternoon at the Har Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem.
