IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari announced on Friday evening that ground troops are intensifying their operations within Gaza with the objective of dismantling the Hamas terrorist infrastructure. Palestinian media also reported the deployment of Israeli tanks within the Gaza Strip late on Friday.

Hagari further explained during an evening briefing that there has been a significant escalation in attacks on Gaza from the air, sea, and land in recent hours.

While the IDF has been indicating the possibility of a full ground invasion for over two weeks, the actual incursion has not taken place yet, likely due to a combination of known and unknown factors.
