Shadi Barud, who formerly served as the head of the attack department at the Hamas operations headquarters, was a key figure in orchestrating the deadly raid on southern Israel that occurred on Simchas Torah / October 7th. This attack was previously planned in conjunction with Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Barud was also heavily involved in planning various Hamas terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens during his tenure as a battalion commander in the Khan Yunis.
Following his time as a battalion commander, Barud assumed several high-ranking positions within Hamas’s military intelligence apparatus. Notably, he was responsible for overseeing the organization’s information security and played a vital role in managing intelligence relations to further Hamas’s terrorist objectives.

However, I strongly suspect that he can be replaced quickly and easily.
I strongly suspect that even if 100% of the Hamas terrorists in Gaza
were all killed today, they could be replaced quickly and easily.
Israel is fighting enemies that have nearly unlimited manpower and money.
why aren’t these guys deep in tunnels?
Everyday we are told that the “Top Commander” has been killed. How come we don’t know their names the day before? We all know, for example “Yichiye Sinwar” (Yimach Shmo). But everyone cannot be the top commander.

Remember. y law of the Supreme Court, Israel has to send the building two texts to evacuate and have “roof knocking”. Who knows if Israel kills anybody or is bombing empty buildings.
