In a moving tribute to the 200+ hostages being held by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip, El Al in partnership with Amudim and Phoenix Insurance placed the photos of the hostages on a cargo flight’s seats – providing a stunning and heartbreaking visual to the world.

Many of the seats on the aircraft, which was flying from JFK to Tel Aviv, were loaded with supplies for the IDF, hospitals, and displaced families. In total, more than 20 tons of supplies were transferred from the U.S. to Israel on Monday alone.

In a Tuesday statement, El Al said: “This morning, a cargo flight landed from New York with vital equipment worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The flight was funded via the donations of the Amudim organization and the Phoenix Group, in collaboration with El Al. Since the start of the war, we’ve flown over 3,500 tons of essential equipment.”
