As of Monday, the IDF has informed the families of 199 individuals that their loved ones are currently held in the Gaza Strip, following their abduction during the Hamas-led terror attack in southern Israel on October 7.
Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, the IDF spokesman, disclosed that the military possesses some information regarding the whereabouts of these hostages in Gaza. He emphasized the determined efforts being made to ascertain their locations, emphasizing that any actions taken will prioritize the safety of Israeli citizens.
Hagari stated during a press conference, “We are making valiant efforts to try to understand where the hostages are in Gaza, and we have such information.” He reiterated that the military would refrain from actions that might jeopardize the safety of its people.
While the majority of these hostages are under the custody of Hamas, it’s worth noting that Palestinian Islamic Jihad has asserted its own claim to holding 30 hostages, further complicating efforts to secure their release.
The status of the hostages, including their well-being, remains unknown at this time. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with representatives of the hostages’ families on Sunday and pledged to work tirelessly to secure the prompt return of the captives.

Do we know how many also hold US citizenship?
Biden won’t let them down !
Why does Gaza even still exist? This very fact proves a lack of seriousness on the part of the Israelis. level the whole place. it will make it easier to see where the shots are coming from out of the tunnels.
Time has arrived to seize 199 Gazan children as hostages, and under no circumstances to release them nor disclose their whereabouts, until every single Israeli hostage has been safely returned:- No ifs & no buts
