FBI Director Christopher Wray is warning of an increase in domestic security threats in the United States following the barbaric Hamas terror attacks in Israel and the ensuing conflict.
“I want to take a moment to offer my heartfelt condolences to the people of Israel, and share the outrage I know we all feel at the sheer brutality and disregard for innocent lives there,” Wray said International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference in San Diego.
“History has been witness to antisemitic and other forms of violent extremism for far too long. Whether that be from foreign terrorist organizations, or those inspired by them, or domestic violent extremists motivated by their own racial animus, the targeting of a community because of their faith is completely unacceptable,” Wray continued. “We remain committed to continue confronting those threats—both here in the United States and overseas.”
“In this heightened environment, there’s no question we’re seeing an increase in reported threats, and we have to be on the lookout, especially for lone actors who may take inspiration from recent events to commit violence of their own,” he said. “And I’d encourage you to stay vigilant, because as the first line of defense in protecting our communities, you’re often the first to see the signs that someone may be mobilizing to violence. And I’d also ask you to continue sharing any intelligence or observations you may have.”
“On our end, we’re committed to doing the same, so that together, we can safeguard our communities,” Wray said.
Wray made the comments on Shabbos, one day after elevated security measures and heightened police presence were provided in several major U.S. cities, prompted by concerns surrounding potential demonstrations linked to the ongoing conflict and calls for global jihad by the former leader of Hamas.
The FBI’s latest statement, released on October 9 regarding the Hamas attacks in Israel, stated that they had no specific and credible intelligence indicating a threat to the United States.

Sounds like he is talking out of both sides of his mouth. no specific threat… stay extra vigilant… no question we are seeing an increase in reported threats…
Yet, emotional parents at school board meetings will still be viewed as the biggest threat. Hamas supporters on college campuses all across the country can still count on their First Amendment rights to be protected.
אם ה’ לא ישמור עיר שוא שקד שומר quite right; they all want to kill us choliloh and it’s a miracle the way HASHEM protects us!
Did Mr. Wray ever finish his investigation into the death of Palestinian terrorist reporter Shireen Abu Akleh? I know that Chris was extremely “concerned”.Will Chris be sending any of his boys to Israel now to investigate the murder of true Americans?! Oh, I thought so. Doesn’t fit the democrat narrative.
