*Security forces on Tuesday evening once again prevented right-wingers from entering the Shuafat refugee camp in the Jerusalem district.

*Yediot Achronot is flying two physicians to Georgia to assist in caring for journalist Tzadok Yehezkeli, who was seriously wounded by gunfire on Tuesday morning.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*An El Al flight carrying some 200 Israelis evacuated from Georgia landed safely in Ben-Gurion International Airport on Tuesday at 7:00PM.

*Marking three years since the expulsion from Gush Katif, the Gush Katif Museum opened in Yerushalayim on Tuesday.

*Handicapped protestors seeking additional national government assistance on Tuesday morning blocked the entrance to Jerusalem.

*Israel on Tuesday morning, as planes were flying to Georgia to rescue over 200 Israelis, expelled a foreign worker in Israel back to Georgia.

*A woman in the Shomron community of Migdalim was stung by a scorpion. She was transported to hospital, reportedly in light condition.

*Seven people were injured, 2 moderately and 5 light, in a four-car collision on the Minharot Tunnel Road on Tuesday. The victims were transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim.

*US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice expected in Israel next week, presumably to exert pressure towards an agreement between Israel and the PA before President Bush leaves office.

*PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) has rejected PM Olmert’s 93% plan, stating it fails to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of a PA state.
